Hi, I would be travelling in Japan during 10 days. and I am planning to buy a 7 days JR pass because I am planning to stay in Tokio the first 4 days and during this time I will mainly use the subway transportation.
My question is: Can I buy a 7 days JR pass on line and activate it 4 days after my arrival? In this way I would have all my train travels covered by my 7 days JR pass until my departure.
How can I activate the JR pass once in Japan?
Another questions.
Should I book my seats much more in advance previous taking any train while visiting Japan?
Is enough to book the seats the day before? and finally, how can I book or reserve my seats on line?
