Looking at using JR pass to travel from Hiroshima to Mount Fuji area (Kawaguchiko Station) - looks like the Shinkasen is Nozomi only (not JR applicable) and then bus from Shinagawa Station would also not be covered by JR pass- would you please clarify

Hi there,

You can use the Hikari Shinkansen instead on the same route that the Nozomi travels.

The bus to Kawaguchiko is indeed not covered by the JR Pass but you can travel there partially by JR trains. For details please see:
