I shall be arriving in Haneda Airport on 27th October and leaving from Kansai Airport on the 5th of November and staying in Fukuoka on the 30th night. Could you suggest an itinerary for 3 adults seeing the maximum places and making the optimum use of the 7 day Jr Pass.

Hi there,
Travel plans are always personal but something you could do is:
27th Haneda
28 - Tokyo
29th - Travel to Hiroshima
30th - Hiroshima / travel to Fukuoka
1st Fukuoka
2nd Himeji to see Himeji castle- travel on to Osaka
3rd Osaka - stay in Osaka
4th - day trip to Kyoto
5th - shopping in Osaka and going to airport.
You could then use a 7 day JR Pass for the last 7 days of your itinerary and make good savings at the same time.

Thank you so much, Daniel San. That was very helpful. Another query : how best to use a JR pass to do the Alpine Route starting from Tokyo and ending in Osaka. Also is the Alpine Routine worth doing in the end of October /beginning November?
