Hi,
I will be travelling in October 2018 with the following itinerary. Greatly appreciate if I should buy a 7 day JR Pass. Kindly advise also if the itinerary is doable.

Day 1 - fly into Osaka KIX and then direct train to Kyoto Station
Day 2 - Day trip to Kobe (Sannomiya Station) and return to Kyoto in the evening
Day 3 - Kyoto Station to Kinosaki onsen
Day 4 - Stay in Kinosaki
Day 5 - Return from Kinosaki to Kyoto Station
Day 6 - Kyoto to Tokyo Station
Day 7 - Tokyo Station to Jomokogen Station for Takaragawa Onsen
Day 8 - Stay in Takaragawa
Day 9 - Jomokogen Station to Tokyo - stay in Shinjuku
Day 10 - Depart Tokyo Shinjuku to Haneda airport.

Thank you in advance.
Warm regards,
Julie Fong

Hi Julie Fong,

I think your itinerary looks good but be sure to plan the train routes in advance. For a JR Pass, my suggestion would be to use a 7 day JR Pass from Day 3 - Day 9. Here you'd make the best savings possible and put the JR Pass to good use.

Have a great trip and hope you find this useful,
Daniel
