I will be in Chiyoda Tokyo for just 4 days, but want to do a bit of sight-seeing in Tokyo like Shinjuku, Shibuya etc.
Should I purchase the JR pass?

Hi there,
It is best to stick to normal for travel in Tokyo. Local travel is not very expansive and a JR Pass is better used when traveling nation wide.
