Will go from Narita to Tokyo and one day going to Kyoto. Should I buy the 7 day pass?

I know 7 day is the minimum pass. Wondering if I can give/transfer to anyone else.

Hi there,

The 7 day Japan Rail Pass is about the same price as a return ticket Tokyo - Kyoto using the Shinkansen. With the JR Pass you get 7 days of unlimited travel, so in that sense it is an easy choice to get a JR Pass.

The JR Pass is a personal pass and can't be given to someone else.
