My question is buying a JR Pass in own country is better or should i do this once i reach Tokyo? i am staying in asakusa /Ueno in Tokyo
I am visiting Japan from 20th July till 2nd August and my travel plan has below places & day trips in surrounding of these cities.
Tokyo (Nikko , Nokogiriyama, Hakone) ,
Matsumoto,
Kyoto, Osaka (arashiyama, kanazawa, Nara and Hiroshima)
I am from Pakistan and if i order exchange order on line, in how many days will i get the delivery?

The JR Pass in Japan costs up to 20% more compared to buying the JR Pass Online, so unless you are in a big hurry, I'd suggest buying the Japan Rail Pass beforehand.

i am looking to buy 14 days pass , since my stay and travel days in Japan are 12 in total - will that be ok? i was skeptical to buy something in Pakistan and later if i face any issues that would be a problem
i also need to know, i will be landing at 11 pm at haneda airport - would i be able to exchange the pass at that time? where else can i exchange the pass apart from airports?

It would depend on how many days you spend in each city, depending on this I'd either use a 7-day or 14 day JR Pass. Generally, I'd say: use a 7-day JR Pass for your longer intercity travels and then buy tickets locally within Tokyo.
