Hi Daniel-san

I wish to confirm the coverage of each of the pass against my itinerary pls:

1) Shinjuku - Kawaguchihoko:
JR East pass will not cover the section from Otsuki to Kawaguchiko. This journey is fully covered by Tokyo Wide Pass, correct?.

2) Asakusa - Tobu-Nikko:
Are both passes valid on this journey and if there is any supplements required for travelling on Spacia X?

3) Tokyo - Ito
Are both passes valid on this journey and if there is any supplements required for travelling on Odoriko Limited Express?

Thank you and look forward to your advice.

Hi there,

Just so we are on the same page, which JR East pass are you referring to? JR East has several passes and I just want to make sure we're talking about the same thing.

As for the Tokyo Wide Pass, it will cover all these trips and ltd. express trains can be used for non-reserved seats.

Kind regards,
Daniel
