Sanyo San'in Pass Exchange near Maibara

Hi there!

My husband and I are using a Sanyo San'in Pass to travel from the 9th of April 2024, but I am having a problem with finding an exchange station near Maibara.

Maibara - Hiroshima will be the first trip on my pass, and previously we will be in Central Japan. Maibara will be our first journey towards the western side, and I am worried that I will not be able to use the pass for the journey to Hiroshima as I will be unable to exchange/activate our passes.

Can anyone please assist/give advice?

Hi there,

All of the locations that are available to exchange the pass can be found here if you scroll down a bit. The closest place you can exchange the pass is Kyoto or Tsuruga, so perhaps you could get to Maibara via one of these two locations and activate the pass on the way so that the next trip to Hiroshima is covered.
