Hi there!
We are travelling from Hanseda Airport to Kyoto (6 October) and then back to Tokyo city (9 October). We then want to go to Kamakura (12 October) before going to an onsen near Kawazu (13-15 October), before going back to Tokyo. What are the best passes for us during our twelve days in Japan?
Thank you :)

Hi there,

I would look at using a 7 day Japan Rail Pass for travel to Kyoto and Back, this will already pay for the pass itself. Then, try to fit in as much as possible for the best savings. Such as going to Kamakura and perhaps a 1-way (or even return) to Kawazu.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

PS: Note that the last part between Ito and Kawaza is not included in the JR Pass.
