Hello. We are arriving in Nagoya on Jan 21. Heading to to Tokyo starting Jan24, on to Osaka Jan26, Kyoto on Jan 28 and back to Nagoya on Jan30. This is 7 days exactly. Do we buy the Whole of Japan Railways Pass? Please do let us know what is the best option

Yes, a 7 day JR Pass would be the best option here, given that you complete the trip back to Nagoya within the validity period.
