What JR pass to get and which day to start activating it?

Hi my itinerary is as follows,

15 Oct - Arrive from Narita Airport, Tokyo Shinjuku
16 Oct - Tokyo Disneyland
17 Oct - Matsumoto
18 Oct - Kamikochi , Overnight @ Takayama
19 Oct - Takayama
20 Oct - Shirakawago, Overnight @ Kanazawa
21 Oct - Kurobe Gorge, Toyama, Overnight @ Kanazawa
22 Oct - Kyoto
23 Oct - Nara
24 Oct - Kyoto, Overnight @ Tokyo (Near Tokyo station)
25 Oct - Tokyo, Depart from Narita Airport

Please advise what type of JR pass would be the most suitable and which day to start activating it?

I was unable to find a pass that would match your itinerary and help you make savings. As such I recommend buying normal tickets for your trip.
