I really need help on which pass to buy for our 14 day trip as I do not believe the 14 day JR Pass is advisable.
March 28- Narita to Tokyo (Keisei Skyliner)
March 29-31-around Tokyo
April1-4-around Tokyo
April 5- Tokyo to Osaka
April 6-around Osaka
April 7-Osaka to Nara
April 8-Nara
April 9-Nara to Kyoto
April 10-Kyoto
April 11-Kyoto to Tokyo
April 12- Tokyo to Haneda Airport

The best option would be to use a 7 day JR Pass from April 5 to April 11, this would cover all your longer distance and expensive travel and is where a Japan Rail Pass will help you make the best savings.
