Hi
In mid December we are traveling to Japan for 9 days
First 4 days we stay in Osaka
1 day we stay in Himeji
Then from Himeji to Takayama (Gifu) we stay test of the trip
Last day we travel back to Osaka Kix to fly back
Which pass would be the best for us to buy?
Will we need to buy different passes ?

I would buy normal tickets for your trip. There's not really a pass here that would help you make savings and be time efficient.
