Hey,
2 people traveling from Narita airport to Tokyo (4 days) to Shibi Onsen (3 days) to Hakone (2 days) to Tokyo (3 day for an anime convention) to Kyoto (4 days) to Koya-san (1 day) to Kanazawa (3 days) and back to Tokyo/Narita for 3 days.
Total trip is 22 days. Does this seem like a reasonable pattern of travel to avoid too many hours on the road?
We weren’t initially planning on getting a JR pass for the days we are in Tokyo as we though it would be cheaper to buy individual subway fares to get around. However, we were wondering if a 14 day JR pass was best for the days we aren’t in Tokyo or whether we should just buy the 21 day pass that covers Tokyo as well instead?
Thanks for any advice.
