Takayama-hokuriku vs jr pass

Hi!

I will be travelling to japan this december. My itinerary will be :

  1. Tokyo
  2. Tokyo
  3. Tokyo to kawaguchiko by express bus and stay for a night
  4. Kawaguchiko to takayama and stay in takayama (should i take the bus or train?)
    5 takayama-shirakawa go-kanazawa/gero onsen (could you tell me which one is better?)
  5. Kanazawa/gero onsen to kyoto
  6. Kyoto to osaka
  7. Osaka

Is the takayama-hokuriku pass cover all my trip from takayama to osaka? Or is there any better option? Thank you

Hi there,

I checked your itinerary but must say that there's not really a pass that would cover all your travel. That said, a Takayama Hokuriku Area Pass will help you to make savings. You'd still have to get separate tickets from Kawaguchi-ko - Nagoya.
