I hope to arrive in Osaka and will stay in Japan for 18 days. Please advise which pass will be suitable and help re-arrange the schedule as necessary. I also need your guidance on the place(s) to see topmost Buddha.
Day 1 Arrive is Osaka
Day 2 Travel within Osaka
Day 3 Day trip Kyoto?
Day 4 Universal
Day 5 Day trip either Hiroshima or Nagasaki
Day 6 Day trip to Nara?
Day 7 Osaka to Tokyo (should I stop for a few nights in between my journey from Osaka to Tokyo)
Day 8 Tokyo
Day 9 Tokyo Day Trip from Tokyo to Mt Fuji
Day 10: Day trip to Hakone / Owakudani ???
Day 11: Disney
Day 12: Day trip to Kamakura??
Day 13: Disney
Day 14 to Day 16: please advise of any popular places
Day 17 Tokyo to Osaka
Day 18 Leave from Osaka

Hi there,

Your most expensive travel is to Hiroshima (or Nagasaki but that's too far for a day trip) and to Tokyo. As such, I recommend using a 7 day JR pass.

There are many Buddha's to see in Japan, the most famous is the Big Buddha is Kamakura. You can use the JR Pass there if you are interested.
