We are a family of 2 adults and two children. We are starting our 10 day visit to Japan in Osaka, from Osaka to Kyoto then down to Hakone then to Tokyo for 4 nights. Are we better buying tickets as we go or using the JR pass?

H there,
For this route it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets :) A JR Pass makes sense if you'd make a return Tokyo - Osaka.
