  1. If you look at my itineraries would I have to buy a 14 days JR pass?

  2. How to go to Hiroshima to Kyoto? : Is it 2 ways?

-JR Pass: Take the Shinkansen Hikari to Shin Osaka and, at Shin Osaka, switch to the Shinkansen Sakura for the remainder of the journey to Hiroshima. The trip takes around 1 hour 50 minutes.

-Non JR Pass: The Shinkasen Nozomi goes directly from Kyoto to Hiroshima and takes approximately 1 hour and 40 minutes. Nozomi trains are not covered under the JR Pass.

Thank you for your kindness

Hello Kunya,

To answer your questions:

1.) Yes, I would recommend getting a JR Pass. Travel to Hiroshima, Kyoto, Tokyo and your side trips all add up to a big amount of travel. While some parts won't be covered by the JR Pass, you would still make very good savings compared to purchasing normal tickets.

2.) You can use the Hikari/Sakura Shinkansen between Kyoto - Hiroshima. This does include 1 transfer at Shin-Osaka station.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
