Kyoto to Koyosan

Hi,

We have a reservation in a temple near Koyosan in the Nara prefecture. I read that the Nankai Koya line was temporary unavailable. How is it possible to optimize our JRP to make the trip from Kyoto and what are the options?

Thank you in advance for your precious help.

Hi there,

You can use the JR Pass to Hashimoto station via Osaka and then use Nankai buses from there to Koya-san. The train is covered up to Hashimoto but the bus is not.

Here is an example route to Hashimoto station.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
