Hello!

I'm having a hard time trying to figure out if a 14 day JR Pass is worth it for me.

My wife and I are arriving at Kansai International airport and staying for 4 nights in Kyoto(maybe a day trip to Nara if we are up for it), then to Tokyo for 6 Nights, then leaving from there through Narita Airport.

The way I'm looking at it, it might be better to just buy individual tickets, but not sure if JR pass is useful within Kyoto or Tokyo around the city.

Questions are:
1. With my plan, is a JR pass a good investment?
2. Is JR train useful within Kyoto and Tokyo cities? or should I buy a different bus pass within those cities? Suggestions?

Thanks,
Dyungi
