JR Pass needed or not

Hello and Konni chi wa

I am traveling from Seoul to Japan for a two week long trip in 1st week of Nov. The itinerary is as follows:

  1. KIX to Dotonbori Osaka
  2. Osaka to Bamboo grove, Kyoto
  3. Kyoto to Kawaguchiko
  4. Kawaguchiko to Tokyo
  5. Tokyo to Narita Airport

Please advice if I should buy the JR pass.

For your trip it would be cheaper to buy normal tickets.

Thanks Daniel- san. I was also reading someplace that Kyoto to Kawaguchiko is a painful journey since it will be have to be all the way through Tokyo. Should I rather do Hakone and then head to Tokyo? Does the need for JR pass change in that case? Also what other regional passes should I look at?
