Hi, I'm new to this Forum. Apologies if this is the right forum to seek help.
We are a family of 4 (2 Adults, a 7yr old and a 5 yr old). Below are our plans this Dec and wondering what is a suitable JR Pass and if indeed most economical for us...

2 Dec: Arrive Chitose airport, head to Tomamu Resort
6 Dec: From Tomamu to Sapporo.
7 Dec: Sapporo to Asahikawa Zoo and back to Sapporo
8 Dec: Sapporo to Otaru and back to Sapporo
9 Dec: Takino Park and downtown Sapporo.
10 Dec: Sapporo to Hakodate
13 Dec: Hakodate to NOBORIBETSU and then to Sapporo

Many many thanks for all your help and inputs!

Hi there,

Using a 4 day Flexible Hokkaido Rail Pass is likely the best option here. Travel to Asahikawa and back, and Sapporo - Hakodate are expensive, so using the pass for those trips will be very helpful.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Tks Daniel!! I never realize there were 4 days flexible Pass. Only heard of the 7, 14 etc.. Is the activation of this 4-day pass similar to the 7 days as in I activate it when I'm at airport be telling them when I wish to start?
Many tks for help!
