Hello there,

I will be there for 14days but I don't think the national Jr Rail pass would be worth for this trip. Alot will be day trips with main hotels/Stays being in Tokyo and Osaka. I think maybe a couple of regional passes may cover it but looking for advice.

Thanks!

Hi there,

For your itinerary it is likely that purchasing your tickets individually would be a slightly cheaper option than purchasing a JR Pass - because the difference isn’t very large, it is worth still considering a JR Pass as an option because of its organisational benefits, although if you’re looking for simply the cheapest option purchasing individual tickets is the way to go.

Kind regards,

Alexis
