Is it wise ( or possible) to plan a day trip from Tokyo to Kyoto for a full day countryside tour ?
I will be very grateful for any help you can give me with this.

Hello Jessica,
You can do Kyoto as a day trip if you leave early and plan it well. What did you have in mind for "a full day countryside tour?" Travel from Kyoto to Tokyo takes about 3 hours/one way.

The full day countryside tour is a group activity with a tour guide. I stumbled upon it when I was searching for things to do in Kyoto on Japanexprience. I wasn't sure if I can get to Kyoto at 9 am to meet the tour guide.
