I would be extremely grateful if you could give me an advice.
We are going to Japan in April.
The itinerary is:
5-7 April - Tokyo
7-8 April - Nagano- Yamanouchi
8-10 April - Fukui
10-13 April - Kyoto
13-16 April - Tokyo
We are going to stay in these places for a couple of days and do local trips.
We are considering buying JRPass for this "loop trip" from Tokyo, coming back to Tokyo in a week.
So the questions are:
Would JRPass cover all bullet trains on the way Tokyo-Nagano-Fukui-Kyoto-Tokyo or is it not worth it, as I've read that some Shinkansen trains are not covered by JRPass?
If we buy a 7 days Pass and activate it on 7th of April, will it still be valid to use on 13th of April?
