Hi, My family and I are travelling to Japan late November and I am unsure whether to get a 7 or 14 day JR pass.

My itinerary is as follows:
Day 1 Arrive Tokyo
Day 2 Tokyo
Day 3 Tokyo
Day 4 Tokyo
Day 5 Nagoya
Day 6 Kyoto
Day 7 Kyoto
Day 8 Kyoto
Day 9 Hiroshima
Day 10 Hakuba
Day 11 Hakuba
Day 12 Hakuba
Day 13 Tokyo
Day 14 Leave Tokyo

Thankyou in advance :-)

Hello there,

I think a 7day JR Pass would be the best option if used from day 5 to 11. This would give you the best possible savings, you could then buy a one-way ticket to Tokyo on the 12th or travel back to Tokyo late on the 11th.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
