Hi, I plan to visit JApan for 14 days starting end Sep 2017. I am solo female. I love long walks, gardens, sunrise, sunset views and food trips. My first visit of Japan was in 2015 in OSAKA, Kyoto, Nara and Kobe. I did not use JR PAss then.

I based below from a sample 14 day itinerary starting from Tokyo down to HAkata and back to Tokyo. I revised it to start from and end in Fukuoka.

Please see below my tentative itinerary:
DAy 1- arrive FUK
DAy2 - NAGASAKI
DAY3- MIYASAKI
DAY4 - 10 TOKYO, MT FUJI
DAY11 - KYOTO
DAY12 - HIROSHIMA
DAY13 - KYUSHU/YUFUIN
DAY14 - DEPARTING FUKUOKA 8PM

DO i have enough time to move around with JR PAss with above schedule?

Would really appreciate comments/ suggestions. :]

Hi there,

I like all the places included but have some worries. Going from Miyazaki to Tokyo in one go is really really (and I mean really) long! It would make sense to plan in some stops there. For instance a visit to Himeji, Kyoto, Osaka or maybe Nagoya.

I would also visit Yufuin when you are in Kyushu near the start. Going there back on Day 13 would add a lot of backtracking.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

Hi, DAniel :]

Appreciate fast reply :]

I will seriously consider breaking the Miyazaki - Tokyo leg with a Kyoto stop.
Also, I will visit Yufuin at the start of my trip - while at HAkata/ FUK.

Thanks a lot!!!
