Hi,

I'm sure I could piece together a bunch of different questions but basically our itinerary is as follows:

Flying into Narita
Staying in Shinjuku
Various things in Tokyo - likely in the area, but possible short train rides
Visiting the Chureito Pagoda (I believe the rail connects somewhat to this?)
Kyoto
Osaka
and flying out of Osaka.

From a few of the calculators it was saying it was close, but I wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything.

Thanks for any help!

Hi there,

It would really depend on what side trips you visit. As a general rule of thumb, I recommend using 7-day JR Pass for trips that include a return Tokyo - Kyoto/Osaka but generally it would not cost efficient if you travel one way.

The Chureito Pagoda, does require a bit of planning to access. For details please see: https://www.japan-guide.com/e/e6917.html#section_get_there

Kind regards,
Daniel

Would it be more convenient? I believe it will be close as you mentioned. I'd have no problem paying a bit extra if I don't have to worry about buying tickets and or standing in line. (Sorry if this is a stupid question)
