Hello
I am in Japan for the world cup arriving 21st September in Tokyo and leaving 14th October from Fukuoka. My itinerary is Tokyo 7N, Hamamatsu 1N, Kyoto 3N, Kobe 2N, Osaka 2N, Hiroshima 2N, (flying Fukuoka - Okinawa), Okinawa 3N,(flying Okinawa - Fukuoka), Fukuoka 3N. I was going to use the rail pass for the first 21 days as I wont really need it in Fukuoka and I want to do some trips from Tokyo. Does this sound sensible?
21 Day Rail Pass

Hi there,
Since you fly in and out of different places domestically, it is hard to find a pass to match to your travel plans and I think just buying the train tickets as you travel is the way to go.
It does make sense in terms of pacing.
Kind regards,
Daniel

Hi Daniel
Thanks for your prompt reply over the 21 days I hope to make the following rail trips
Airport - Shinjuku 1 way
Shinjuku - Yokohama 2 way
Shinjuku - Hakone 2 way
Shinjuku - Kamakuri 2 way
Shinjuku - Hamamatsu 1 way
Hamamatsu - Fukuroi 2 way
Hamamatsu - Kyoto 1 way
Kyoto - Kobe 1 way
Kobe - Osaka 1 way
Osaka - Hiroshima 1 way
Hiroshima - Fukuoka airport 1 way
Also subway trips on Yamamoto line in Tokyo
Do you still feel I would be better buying separate tickets or JR pass
Was also thinking of the Green pass, is it worth the extra?
Thanks
Brian
