We are considering a 21 Day JR Pass will it be worthwhile? We are travelling from Tokyo (7 nights), to Oiso (3), Osaka (4), Kyoto (4), Kyoto (4), Kanazawa (3), Takayama (4), Ginza Tokyo (1) to Narita International Airport. Any suggestions? We thought we would start using our JR Pass when we leave Tokyo on October 7th travelling Narita Airport on the 21st Day of JR Pass use.
It appears we can only use the JR Pass for very short journeys from Kyoto - Kanazawa - Takayama.

Hi Sandi,
With your currently itinerary, it would cost less to buy normal tickets, than a 21 day JR Pass. I think it would be best to buy normal tickets for your trip.
