Hi there, our itinerary is as above:
Tokyo 2 nights, Kamakura 1 night, day trip to Mt Fuji, then Kyoto for 5 nights with day trips, Koya-San 1 night, Himeji 1 night, Naoshima 1 night, Hiroshima 2 nights, Kanazawa 2 (maybe 3) nights, Tokyo 2 nights.
We are thinking of getting 21 day JR passes but not sure if this is the best option.
Can you please advise.
Thanks for your assistance.
Regards
M & M

Hi M & M,

I think you could get away with using a 14 day JR Pass, when you'd start using it from the day that you'd go to Kyoto and make sure you are back in Tokyo before the pass expires.

The price difference with a 21 day JR Pass is not that much, so you could consider that as well for the extra flexibility.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
