hi, i think 14 nights is a good amount of time and am grateful to have it to spend in Japan. I think I will need a 14 day pass, as with 7 days would not make it back to Tokyo for my departure flight. I want to experience a lot, but not try to do so much that I don't get a good understanding of the particular places. I fly in and out of Tokyo. Is the following too ambitious, do you have recommended time to stay in each place please? Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Hakone, Tokyo. Would like to stay in variety of types of places, to include ryokan possibly temple? any thoughts on this would be much appreciated. thanks
14 nights, want to see a lot but not too much...

Hi there,
Tokyo, Osaka, Hiroshima, Hakone, Tokyo is certainly possible when traveling 14 days. Accommodation recommendations are very personal, we all have our own preferences, budget and wishes. Therefore it is hard to give specific recommendations, instead I would recommend using booking websites and using their filter options like price, type of room, guest reviews, location and so on to narrow down the options and then select the option that you like the best.
Also, it will be a big help if you assign a certain amount of days to each city/place you want to visit. Once you know this, it will be much easier to start planning :)
Hope this helps,
Daniel
