Hello! I had changed my itinerary for my trip to Japan with family in June. We were wondering how our itinerary should be.

We will be landing in Narita Airport June 12th and staying at a hotel for the night near the airport.

On June 13th, we will be using our Shinkansen tickets to go from Narita Airport Osaka. Our Osaka plans include: seeing Osaka castle, Umeda Sky Building, Tenma, Dotonbori, Nipponbashi and going shopping. We might do other activities, but those are the things we have planned so far.

Those dates after that we're unsure on how long we should be in each place.

After Osaka, we will be going to Kyoto via Shinkansen tickets and there we'll be doing several things: Nijo Castle, Nishiki Market, Pontocho, Kiyomizudera, Ginkakuji, Higashiyama, Gion, Yasaka Shrine, Fushimi Nari Shrine, Toji Temple, Kinkakuji, Arashiyama.

After Osaka, we'll be using our Shinkansen ticket to go to Hakone.

After going to Hakone, we'll go to Tokyo. Our plans include: Tsukiji Market, Akihabara, Ginza, Tokyo Sky tree, Asakusa, Sensoji Temple, Ameyoko, Shibuya, Meiji Shrine, Shinjuki, Obaida, Tokyo Tower.

Will that be all feasible in 11 days? including hours we're on the bullet train?

Hello there,

Yes, you should have no problem doing that in a single day. Many of these activities can be combined in a single day trip/

In would recommend using a 7 day JR Pass for travel to Osaka, Kyoto and Hakone/Tokyo. Then buy local tickets within Tokyo for the last couple of days.

Hope this helps,
Daniel

So our stay in Osaka would be 2 days; Kyoto 3 days, Hakone 1 day (with over night stay), and then Tokyo for 4 days? Would all that be feasible?
