Hi,

I am already buying my flight ticket going to Japan 26/09/2017 to 25/10/2017.

Can I order my JR Pass right now or still wait?

Hi,
You should wait until the end of July or August.

As it says on the official page, "...you must turn in your Exchange Order to obtain your JAPAN RAIL PASS within three months from the date the Exchange Order was issued (for example, an Exchange Order issued on April 15 would have to be turned in by July 14).
