Hi is subway tanimachi line and shinkansen included in ICOCA? And, what is the difference of ICOCA and Kansai One Pass? Hoping you can help me. Thank you

Hi there,
ICOCA is just an electronic way of paying, it is not a discount card. That said, it is very convenient, as you don't have to buy normal tickets.
Shinkansen trains need a normal ticket and can't be traveled on using the ICOCA card alone.
The Kansai One Pass is a themed ICOCA card that includes additional discounts on local sightseeing spots for tourists.
