We've planned a trip from April 12th to 25th, with 6 days in Osaka and 6 days in Tokyo, but we need your help deciding which transit option is best for us. Our itinerary is for 3 adults and 1 child (5 years old):
Osaka-Hiroshima round trip (including Miyajima Island)
Osaka-Kyoto round trip
Osaka-Kobe round trip
Osaka-Nara round trip and Osaka-Tokyo
From there:
Tokyo-Kamakura round trip
Tokyo-Fuji round trip.

Do you think a JR Pass or a Suica Card is better? We will definitely be traveling from Osaka to Hiroshima and Osaka to Tokyo by Shinkansen.

thanks. good works. see you by..

Hi there,

You can plan your specific routes using Navitime, which is excellent for checking train timings.

For your itinerary, you might consider combining the Kansai-Hiroshima Area Pass with individual tickets for the remaining legs. This is often the most flexible and cost-effective way to travel.

As you are travelling with a child under the age of 6, they can travel for free on JR trains provided they share a seat with an adult.

I hope this helps!

Kind Regards,

Mariko
