Hi

Could anyone please advice me on whether or not I should buy a Jr wide pass for 3 days
This is my first time going to Tokyo
I have been to Hokkaido once on Febuary and I bought a JR Hokkaido for 5 days which was very helpful and easy to use.
But for Tokyo i found out that there are many types of JR pass and im not quite sure that I really need it or not
Or should I just buy a subway pass instead.

Well, my plan is
1st day arrive at Narita airport around 8.30
Then im going to Disneyland

Then the second day i’ll go to Asakusa

The third day I’ll be heading to Lake kawaguchigo(already booked a hotel there)

The fourth day I’ll be going to shop around Shinjuka and Shibuya

The last day my flight is quite early so I booked a hotel near The airport.

Thank you very much in advance.

Hi there,

I don't think so, unless you'd do more travel. All your travel seems within Tokyo, with the exception of the side trip to Fuji Kawaguchiko but you can use a cheap express bus to get there.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
