Hi,
I will be bringing a 32 inch luggage to Japan - travelling to Tokyo, Kyoto & Osaka. Will be using the Shinkasen/JR for this trip.
Will there be any restrictions on the Shinkasen when I travel to Kyoto/Osaka?
Cheers!

Hi there,
The official rules are:
You may bring up to two pieces of baggage on board free of charge. For each bag the total of the length, width and height must not exceed 250 centimeters, the length must not exceed two meters and the weight must be no more than 30 kilograms. -JR East.
This is however not strictly enforced as it would be on an air plane. A good general rule is, you can bring anything within reason, as long as it does not inconvenient other passengers and is well packed.
Hope this helps,
Daniel
Hi Daniel San,

Cheers!
