Hi there,
When Japan will open is hard to say exactly, the current lockdown is until May 6th. You can find the original announcement here. Though it is likely to be extended until the situation is under control, even then protection measures will remain in place for a long time. I suggest keeping an eye out on the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Japan website for updates.
In the meantime, you can visit Japan virtually here and see the 20 most beautiful spots.
