We will be travelling in Japan for 13 days arriving at the Osaka Kansai airport Sept. 11. We are staying in Osaka until Sept. 14 and then head to Kyoto for three days. On Sept. 17 we head to Tokyo for three days. From Tokyo we go onto Yokohama on Sept. 20 for three days and then return to Tokyo on Sept. 23 and leave Tokyo Narita airport on the 24. Would it be better to have the Japan Rail Pass or just book train tickets as we go? Thanks in advance for your help. Ilene

Hi there,
For your trip normal tickets would be better, as they cost less than the price of a JR Pass.
You can use the JR Pass Fare Calculator to find an approximate ticket cost of a single route or even your full itinerary.
Kind regards,
Daniel
