Worthwhile for my Destinations?

Hi there. My dad and I will be visiting Japan from March 13th-25th, and will be making several stops around. We're flying into KIX and spending the first week in the Kansai region and to stop by Hiroshima. On the 19th, we'll be going to Tokyo, where we'll be finishing out the remainder of our trip. My question is if the rail pass is worth it for the first part of our trip

Hi there,

The JR Pass will be worth it for going to Hiroshima and Tokyo but local travel within Kansai does not cost as much and local tickets will likely be a better option for the first part of your trip.
