My boyfriend and I are going to Japan in late October on the 23rd for three weeks. Our itinerary layout is as follows:

Tokyo - 1 week
Travel within Tokyo like Disneyland, TeamLabs, Shibuya, Mipig cafe etc. Day trip for Fun2Drive activity in Hakone Nagoya - 1 day
LegoLand Kyoto - 2 days
Arashiyama Monkey Park Iwatayama, Nishiki etc. Osaka - 3 days
Universal Studios, Dotonburi, Osaka Castle etc. Hiroshima - 1 day
Peace Memorial Musuem etc. Fukouka - 1 day
Trip to Tsushima Island & Iki Island
Back to Tokyo - 3 days

We are not sure if it is worth it to buy a JR pass or if there is another type of pass we should buy. There are so many options and it is quite confusing haha. Should we just buy a Suica and use that for all of our travel?

Any advice would be appreciated please!! :)

Hi there,

Based on the information provided, I recommend using a 14-day JR Pass. The trips Tokyo - Kyoto, Hiroshima, Osaka and back to Tokyo already pay for the 14-day JR Pass and you can make good savings with all the other travel involved.

Kind regards,
Daniel
