Hello,
How do i tell which lines are JR lines and therefore free to travel with JR pass?
Is there list that I can refer to?
For example, i heard Keiyo line is private line therefore I need to buy additional ticket. but why is it listed on JR East Group Map? Im still confused.
Thank you!!
Which lines are JR lines?
Hi there,
We have a map here with all lines included:
https://www.jrpass.com/map
Usually the the line with have JR in front, like JR Yamanote line or JR Chuo line. As we're not JR East, I can't comment on why it is included, likely to show possible connections for travellers.
You can also use Hyperdia to find lines only covered by the JR Pass.
