hi, I will arriving in Nagoya on 13 Nov.

My initerary is as such:
13 Nov - Nagoya city
14 Nov & 15 Nov - to Takayama & Shinhotaka Ropeway
16 Nov - Shirakawago
17 Nov - Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route
18 Nov - Matsumoto
19 Nov - Nagoya

I would like to know which JR is more suitable for me. The Alpine-Takayama-Matsumoto Area Tourist Pass or JR Green Pass. I wish to travel in comfort and have space for luggage storage.

Please advise. Thanks in advance!

Hi there,

I do not think the Green Pass would be of much use on the route that you plan to travel. As such, a Tateyama-Kurobe Alpine Route would be the best option. Please do check ahead if it matches your travel plans, especially the amount of days that you wish to spend in each area.

Kind regards,
