hi! Daniel
my family will visit japan for 14 days
6/2 to 6/5 Tokyo , shinjuku
6/5 to 6/9 Osaka, naniwa
6/9 to 6/14 Tokyo, we will stay at fish market, and hotel close to Haneda airport.
which pass we should buy? 7 days or 14 days?
we will sign seeing a lot around Tokyo.

Hi there,

I think a 7 day JR Pass would be the best option. The cost of a 7 day JR Pass is similar for a return ticket Tokyo - Osaka using the Shinkansen. Now you get 7 days of unlimited travel for the same price :) To the question: Can I buy a Japan rail pass online, yes this is possible.

You could use the extra travel to see Tokyo or maybe even add a day trip!
