What Itinerary and can we use JR Pass

Hi, we already planned to go to Japan this November Autumn season for 9 days and 8 night, the place we want to go are:
Shirakawa Go and Alpine Road and than spent the rest of holiday in Osaka and Tokyo, yes we landed at Tokyo than back again from Narita Tokyo). the Questions will be:
1. Can we use JR Pass,
2. Can we just spent a day at Shirakawa Go and then Alpine road?, if it possible where we should go first in the morning time Alpine Road or Shirakawa?

Thank You, it will be a great help for us, if you can give solutions for problems..

Hi there,

1.) You can use the JR Pass but be aware that there will be significant parts not included in the pass. Think of the bus to Shirakawa-go and on the Alpine route.

2.) Youw ill need more than 1 day to visit both, a lot of travel is involved getting to Shirakawa-go and the Alpine route and you will want time to explore both too.
