Hi,
Were buying the 14 days pass and I was wondering, if we decide to take a bus, subway or a local train is there going to be extra charge or the 14 days pass covers it all as long as its JR?

Also I wanted to ask, does the pass give us unlimited stops for 14 days? And are there places that the ordinary pass can`t take us?

Thank you in advance!

Hi there,

The biggest limit of the Japan Rail Pass is that is stops after 14 days :)

Within the validity period, the JR Pass provides unlimited travel on JR Pass, including the high-speed Shinkansen lines.

Travel on other companies is not included, such as the Tokyo Metro. As long as there are JR lines, you can go there using the JR Pass but there are areas in Japan that don't have JR lines.

Hope this helps,
Daniel
