Week in Tokyo

Hi,

I'm doing a week in Tokyo soon and was wondering if this pass can be used for general travel around? We are going other places such as Fuji some days where this pass would be beneficial but before dropping £200 on it I just want to make sure we can get around Tokyo first.

Hi there,

Travel within Tokyo itself does not cost a lot compared to longer intercity trips. You'd likely be better to off buying local tickets or using a card like Suica. Look at using a JR Pass when you want to explore different cities in Japan, like Kyoto, Hiroshima and so on.
