Using Kansai-Hokuriku Pass from Kyoto to Amanohashidate

Is the JR Kansai-Hokuriku Pass valid for the entire travel from Kyoto to Amanohashidate?
(Kyoto ----> Fukushiyama ------> Amanohashidate via Kyoto Tango Railway).

Also according to the JR West timetable website, the earliest train from Kyoto to Amanohashidate is available from 7:32 am. (via Fukuchiyama). Is this true?
